Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will be conducting a written examination for the recruitment to the posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil) under Tamil Nadu Highways Engineering Service. Candidates who are going to participate in this written test can get the syllabus and exam pattern from hereunder. Candidates who applied for this exam should download their E-admit Card or Hall Ticket to enter in prescribed Exam Centre of Assistant Engineer Civil Exam conducting by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). Candidates are strictly informed that no Admit Card or Hall Ticket will reach home of candidates by post, it can only be download in upcoming dates before Exam.

Civil Engineering (DEGREE STANDARD)


CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS Engineering Properties uses and tests for stones and bricks lime -sources, types and properties – cement – composition, tests, specifications, properties – types of cements and admixtures. Miscellaneous materials – Glass, Rubber Plastics and materials for acoustics and insulation.
